A full-on epic stadium experience in a portable facility.
The groundbreaking Chevron Stage, launched Summer 2024 with the world’s first outdoor floating LED video sky canopy, was created especially to host dance music, pop and hip-hop acts. This complete portable venue / temporary structure experience is made up of :
Special Structures Lab’s LightCloud™ Cablenet :
Wholly designed LightCloud™ Cablenet roof structure and masts.
Manufactured to specification designed and signed-off by SSL.
Colour Sound Experiment’s lighting :
Designed and manufactured the video fishnet canopy, made up of 2,500m2 floating LEDs.
Canopy of lights can be programmed to turn the sky into a dazzling, reactive display.
Serious Stages Stellar stage :
20m wide roof, 15m depth, with 8m screen and PA goalposts.
Weight Loading Capacity: 5000kg per arch.
14.5m stage height.
Angled sides give the crowd a different aesthetic.
Large side sheds, providing extra space for technical and storage.
Wire rope net provided by Rope & Rigging Ltd. and main masts supplied by Mobile Stadiums.

“The new Chevron Stage on the far side of the site could have distracted occupants of the International Space Station. With a focus on electronic performers, and plenty of drum and bass, which is enjoying a huge revival, it featured a “floating video canopy” - a vast fishing net of LED lights that made it look as if people were dancing beneath sheet lightning. Yorkshire jungle revivalist Nia Archives used the set-up to vibrant effect, singing sweetly over her racing, tumbling beats while the visuals dazzled. The Prodigy’s use of these innovative surroundings was less giant Christmas tree, more terrifying apocalypse. With a fearsome electronic sound, honed over decades, this in effect made them the loudest rock band of the weekend.”
