Built for Festival Republic to provide a canopy for The Waterfront Stage on the lake at Latitude Festival.
Designed by Rudi Enos, this elegant canopy structure defined its location and appeared to float over the water. The canopy, manufactured and installed by Mobile Structures, was located on a stage installed by Serious Stages, using not only skilled riggers but underwater divers.
The stage was featured on the BBC’s The Andrew Marr Show, clearly showing the peaceful and tranquil setting at the festival highlighted by the canopy. A highpoint of the event was the pianist Lang Lang being transported by gondola to the floating Waterfront Stage to perform.
