The Royale (British Aerospace)
Year 1989
Rudi Enos designed the mobile hospitality unit The Royale for British Aerospace. This multi-storey structure accommodated guests on three levels, incorporated a viewing gallery and was equipped with full catering facilities, and was used primarily as the press area at major golf tournaments. Being trailer-based, the structure was the ultimate touring facility of its time.
In 1989, The Royale received the Outstanding Achievement Award in the category of Fair & Exhibit Tent Rental, from the Advanced Textiles Association International Achievement Awards (IAA) (named IFAI at that time).
