The metallic silver fabric offset by Hoover’s brand shade of red for the steelwork, created the drama of this structure, which along with other structures of Rudi’s design, dominated the Ebbw Vale Garden Festival site.
Commissioned by Hoover, designed by Rudi Enos and built by Boris Construction, it had a floor area of 600m2, and an internal height of 8m. Hoover’s exhibition was called A Cleaner World. The festival ran for 6 months and attracted over 2m visitors.
