Glastonbury Pyramid Proposal

Client  Michael Eavis, Glastonbury Festival
Location  Worthy Farm, Glastonbury
Year  2004

Working with long time client and friend Michael Eavis, in 2004 Michael asked Rudi to provide a design for a new Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival. Rudi produced various designs and ended up with the version shown here. The proportions were exactly the same as the great pyramid of Giza. The 3D model pictured, sat on top of Michaels’ fridge in the farmhouse for many years. Ultimately, a slightly different design was used.

This project was just one small part of Rudi Enos’ history with Glastonbury Festival. The first installation of the Kayam was at Glastonbury, and the famous John Peel stage tent was one of Rudi’s designs, the CE-SPaCe Arena.
